When reached for comment, Nyambane confirmed that story was indeed true and he had recently acquired the latest model of Mitsubishi which is yet to hit the road. By Anthony Nyongesa Comedian Nyambane seems to have realised the power of prayer. A few weeks after returning from the US, the Q FM morning co-presenter is said to have be attending church services every place he travels to host his shows. Last week, he surprised officials of St Veronica in South B when he asked them to pray for his newly acquired vehicle. This was during the launch of a salon Fair Zone in the area. |

My Day Out I have been under a lot of pressure lately and I decided to take a few moments of strolling and quiet away from home and work. So yesterday evening found me in town where I went to an internet cafe and later - the cafe was in Nature House, Tom Mboya Street- I decide to go to Mwauras to meet a couple of pals. As I was walking up the street I met, hold one, more than five pairs of gay couples!!! Yes, I was seeing two men holding and cuddling each other and having that lovers look. I kid you not! |

Is it because we try to ape the women in New York and fail miserably? Sex and the City: The Movie was released in 2008, and the women in Nairobi, having seen this news in the press, scampered around town trying to get a copy. I suspect that most found bootleg copies from a street vendor and ran back home to settle on the sofa with a bowl of chevda. The next two and a half hours or so were spent cursing the “camera copy” and trying to figure out how to switch off the poorly written subtitles. |

A friend in need. I sat across him, watching him down his third Smirnoff Black Ice. We were in Tropez, opposite Nation Center. It was a weekday so not to much traffic in the club. The DJ was playing some old classics that made the ambiance deathly appealing. On the huge screen was the Tiger Woods drama galore being aired. We had met earlier as he wanted to meet and chat over drinks. Who am I to refuse my stomach some machozi ya simba? |

Growing up fabulously I am about to celebrate my 24th birthday and I had to write something about being gay (daaaa) and how it all began. Well, I can't call it 'began' but how it 'evolved'. Yes, there were things I did while growing up that clearly marked me 'different.' Some things I did were clearly gay and here are a few. Perhaps, some of you may be able to remember some of this stuff. After all, it explains a lot about who we are today-gay and loving it! |

Just for a laugh.......or is it? Yes we can. That was the message from the government as a new report was released yesterday to combat the problems plaguing the country. The year is 2010 and the political mills are churning fodder faster than the masses can consume them. The following report is just part of this. |

About Ma. On April 10 every year, I celebrate the first anniversary of my mother's death. On that date, I was beside her in Kenyatta National Hospital when she breathed her last. The last words she heard were the same ones she heard when I began to talk- 'Mum,' 'Mum.' |

I had visited the U.S. Embassy just a few hours before and were it not for a missing document, I would have been inside the building at the time of the blast. I think this day should be a day when Kenyans should take a moment and thank God for the gift of life. It all started when I received my I-20, the document that shows officials at the U.S. Embassy that I had been accepted to an American university. With my mother's help, I began the preparations for the day we had chosen to visit the Embassy. |
