Chizi Concert at the Simba Saloon, Carnivore
Singer Chizi performing (on Thursday, 14 August, 2008) at Urban Legends, an event at the Carnivore that features various afro-fusion artists and is quickly becoming a Thursday evening tradition. The musician, who was backed by the Black Band and singer Doris Onyango, performed songs from his latest album Suluwe, and others from an upcoming, yet-to-be-named album which will hit stores next year. Chris Adwar of the Villagers warmed up the crowd and opened the show with a few numbers including “Mercedes Benz”. Pictures: Paul Munene.
