A recent tour of the Maasai Mara organised by Bunduz, an group outdoor excursion company. The migration, which takes place as an estimated 1.3 million Wildebeest move from the Maasai Mara to the Serengeti to calve, was named as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2006 by a panel of experts polled by the American TV network ABC. Early this year, the Kenya Tourist Board rolled out a domestic consumer campaign to encourage tourism by Kenyan residents. Kenya Tourism Week is set for September 21-27.
